About the Chronicle

Started by the Coromandel Business Association in 1996 as a simple A3 sheet folded in half, the Coromandel Town Chronicle has grown through it's time with several different editors over the years.

The Chronicle is a free magazine aimed at providing local information for local people or those with an interest in Coromandel Town; ranging from topical news and issues that are relevant, to the available services or promotions within the community. Readers are welcome to submit stories or letters and local organisations are encouraged to send in information on what's coming up or happening at their local club or area.

The Chronicle is still owned by the Coromandel Business Association - Completely Coromandel, but is now leased, since April 2008 to Jude Publishing Ltd, run first by Julie Smith and Debbie Morgan, with Debbie taking full over Jude Publishing as sole director in April 2011, and has been running the Chronicle ever since.

I am proud to have the opportunity to assist the community to keep in touch. I am local to Coromandel Town and actively involved in the local community.

If you have a story to tell or an upcoming event that may make a good cover story, or would like to help in any way, then please contact me.
